Research shows that almost half of us have some kind of allergy, with the dreaded ‘hay fever’ being the most frequent culprit.

However, did you know that you are more likely to have at least one allergy if you are a female? Apparently, 51 per cent of women will report at least one allergy versus just 37 per cent of men.

According to a recent UK poll, people under 35 are most likely to have an allergy compared to older individuals.
