Nutritional researchers from California have found that antioxidants really are the fountain of youth. In fact, people who consume more of these valuable nutrients (found in fruits and vegetables) age at almost half the rate of others who don’t.

Apparently, antioxidants slow down cell division. Now, while replacing “old” cells with new ones might seem better, it turns out that the faster your cells divide, the faster you age.

Antioxidants are not just good for aging. They also help to reduce inflammation in the body – and are even effective at helping to reduce allergic symptoms. Common antioxidants used to help allergic symptoms include:

  1. Vitamin C
  2. Vitamin E
  3. Bioflavinoids
  4. Beta carotene
  5. Selenium
  6. Coenzyme Q10
  7. Quercetin
  8. Alpha Lipoic Acid

So why not slow the wear and tear of aging while you help avoid allergic symptoms?
