BPA is already linked to increased allergy risk; a new animal study now shows that exposure to BPA during pregnancy could add to the asthma risk for babies.

While the current study dealt only with mice, there are implications for humans. In fact, the BPA exposure level was calculated for the study, based on the exposure to BPA that human fetus might experience.
