Looking for something to handle your nasal allergy symptoms? There’s a new, non-prescription nasal spray on the market that might be an option.
Sinus Buster Capsaicin Nasal Spray is promoting its product with results of a new double-blind study that showed the spray provides fast and effective relief of nasal congestion. While not specifically an allergy product, it does have a distinct advantage over other decongestant sprays, as the study showed it was safe and non habit forming. In addition, congestion started to ease in as little as one minute.
Dr Jonathan Bernstein, a leading researcher from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Medicine, ran the double-blind study. The study involved 42 participants who used the spray over a two week period. Bernstein’s report shows that the product not only gave immediate relief but sustained relief over the period of the study.
A further benefit of this spray versus other decongestant sprays containing oxymetazoline, is that Sinus Buster does not cause a rebound affect after using it for the full two weeks of the study.
The spray is made from cayenne peppers.
